I still think the shot he played from a fairway bunker over water to the back of the green, early in this sequence was one of the greatest I've ever seen at the time, though the others were pretty spectacular: Anyone know where it was and when?

Bob, have you developed a sudden YouTube addiction???
Hardly an addicition more like an opportunity to promote what's available. We were discussing the opprtunities to expand the forum still further at an editorial meeting and it was suggested that while the company had built a facility to embed (I think that's the term) video clips on its forums (for 25 sights in our business - from babies to bikes, from mountaineering to model boats, from golf to gardening) we perhaps weren't making best use of it. Our members, I felt, needed to be advised of how it could work best. Some have jumped at the chance, others we hope will follow with their own individual swing submissions. Bottom line is we're in ther information/entertainment business and golf vids are both entertaining and informative. GM is the No.1 online golf community in the UK, with a facility that was only receiving minimum use. I've tried to populate it with some examples of what's possible. It's up to the members now to make full use of it. No, it's not an addiction, merely an awareness. Thanks for asking. ED

 Thanks Rich..I can sleep now!'

Bob, I was only kidding, buddy! I think it's a great feature and showcasing it is a fine idea.

I know...you were only making an observation 23 - that's fine. No harm done, I can take it!! It also gave me an opportunity to further explain to everyone what we do and why we do it. I'm aware from other threads that, magazines are getting repetitive because basically the staff very rarely meet and speak with their readers - it's all in-house discussion 9-5. At least I can have an open conversation with you guys and gals and get a feel for what you want. You'll soon tell me if it's crap and I can tell if it's 'got legs' by the number of responses and the feedback. It's always great to hear from you all. My job is to stimulate the forum not to get on a high horse and spout what I think is great or rubbish. Who the hell am I? I don't have a degree in R&D engineering or marketing. All I know is what I like as a mid-handicap golfer who's got a bit of a way with words and has been about a bit. There you go, Friday afternoon ''get it off your chest' time. As they say in 'Kett'rin', Northants, where I used to work for Motor Cycle News in the 70s: 'Am ad enuff, am goo-in um!' ED

The tee Shot at Doral over 390 odd Yrds was pretty special too seeing as it hit the green. Long and accurate...
But i agree bob, that bunker shot was amazing!
Cant remember which tournament it was now but we need a link to his PW recovery from deep rough over a tree to a green about 170yds ? away. Gary McCord and Feherty said they saw the lie and there was NO way he could make the shot...but of course he did. Hope its on YouTube....somebody ?

Just Pured Was this occasion when Feherty was standing in the fairway with Ernie Els, and Ernie's amazed utterance of "F**K me!" was captured on the mike for all to hear? I've heard about it but never seen it.
