Here is my swing, recorded yesterday. Its the first time ive hit a ball in a month and had a slight hook going on.

Any advice? Couldnt get a video from front on as next bay was being used.

Thanks

Little dip of the head when starting downswing, but that would be nit picking.

Nice swing

I havent been a member of a cub for about 3 years since i moved, probably play once every 6 weeks or so.

Was off 5.7 when I left

It shows, mate. That's a really nice swing. Fundamentally almost perfect. You've a great x-factor there and excellent at impact, but your finish really shows what a good swing it is. Very balanced and Sergio like in it's length with that little bounce.

Fine example of a oneplane swing. Fan of Hogan, by any chance?

Thanks,

To be honest i have never seen much of Hogan. I started the game when i was 7 but soon gave it up for footy!!!

Returned to it at 14 and been playing ever since. I have never paid for a golf lesson from a professional but just get the odd tip from a mate who turned pro last year. I normally hit it dead straight when swinging well but recently had a little draw going (hook at range yesterday) and i still have a baseball grip. Hands are fairly small and ive dabbled with an interlocking grip but never been comfortable.

Do you think it would benefit me changing grip?

It's an interesting one. I have reasonably small hands too ( wear medium glove size) and interlocked for the 1st 15 years I played, but last year i experimented with an overlap and really liked it. Took about a week to get used too.

to be honest there's no reason why you need to if you hit it that well.

Check Hogan out on youtube. your swing is longer with the irons, but quite similar.
