Here is my swing with wedge, 6 iron and 2 iron hybrid. Can you give me some feedback, despite the poor quality? Cheers Wedge 6 iron Hybrid Oh and I'm not hitting any balls, obviously!

my £0.02 In all vids you are over swinging to much and also dipping your head too. I would swing what feels like a 3/4 swing, which will then probably bring you to parallel which is were you want to be. and just try to maintain your spine angle all the way through the swing and try and stop the up and down movement with the head.

Oli, On the downswing your heads drops vertically then rises. Bound to lead to some inconsistency. How old are you Oli ? Aren't there any clubs local which do group lessons ? I know a couple of juniors who go to group lessons and they rave about them, good laugh, not too heavy but they learn alot.

my 2 Ps worth , dipping at start of downswing , lose spine angle trying to compensate , and looked like you were falling back out of one of the shots, looks like your stance is too narrow but can't be sure from that angle , if it is too narrow it can effect stability. Back off on the power , check your basics , try to leave some paint on the ball , and stop dipping and try to retain spine angle, easy peasy says this old fart, yeah right!.

Hey Oli, What I notice is a very common fault in that you're way too inside to early. You need to keep the clubhead outside your hands until they're at 9 o'clock. By taking them inside that much you have to make lots of compensations and the club will feel way too heavy and unbalanced. Like others have said, try to maintain your spine angle too. The difference between good golfers and poor ball strikers is easy to see on the range or course. Hint: Watch the good players right shoulder through the ball. It always fires down towards the ball and under them. That shows they maintained their spine angle throughout the shot.

 Dude,
Firstly, lets be honest. You NEVER swing that fast do you?
Next time we go the the range hit some balls and i'll do the videos for you.
I think you already know about the overswing and if you go see a pro that's probably what he'll talk to you about first.
Mike.

Hi guys, Cheers for the advice, I think I will invest in some lessons soon (to Mike's great delight lol) Definately overswinging etc so will need to conquer that...

One other thing, Oli. That's not your golf swing if you're not hitting anything. You can't tell a whole lot by a practise swing, mate.
