How do you get it like, so it shows in the message ?

very suprised. looks a very good swing for a 24 handicapper.

u address the ball very well u start the club away very well. maybe a little outside the line .

but at the top it all goes to hell.  you come over the top the club gets very vertical and u then pull ur entire body across the ball.

if u pause it just after impact u will see your body is very open and the club flying in front of you.

i would try getting to the top and try swing ing down as shallow and flat as u can. u can do this by tulking ur right elbow into ur body as u start the downswing. then u want to swing as much inside to out as u can . try and feel as if ur trying to hit the right fence on the range.

u should notice a difference. do this until u stop hitting a pull slice and start hitting a push. then ull be there.

I agree with Adam. You need to start trying to hit the ball out to the right. Your backswing is basically good, but then you get anxious and snatch at the ball. Try to pause at the top then swing down into the inside back of the ball trying to hit it out to the right.

Cheers guys, thanks for taking the time to comment, I've been trying to solve my over the top problem for a while.

So are you saying I have purposley got to hit the ball out to the right  ? I dont understand.

That is exactly what you're to feel like you're doing. Because you're coming across it from out to in you need to train yourself to have an inside attack on the ball. The way to do this is to aim for the inside back quarter of the ball and attempt to hit the fence on the right of the range. Make sure you're lined up square to the target though and not out to the right.

This will eventually, or even quite quickly, lead to you hitting little push shots. When that happens consistently take a few swings aiming straight at the target BUT continue to look at the inside bakc part of the ball. That is the part you must hit to hit the ball straight NOT the back of the ball where most people aim.

Hopefully if you put it into practice it'll be the pulls and slices that'll be never again
