UPDATE
just had a lesson at fairways for the first time with a new pro (irish guy named shane)
Guess what the first thing he said? Your left kneee is buckling, u are losing all your coil, its casuing all types of problems like, making your body dip, not having a proper weight transfer, over swinging, throwing the club out.
So it seems u should all be teachers 
he got me set up better and made me turn my left foot towards the target and took me back in the proper postion i couldnt belive the amount of power i could feel in my right side, he also got me to try holding the club longer in the down swing instead of releasing it so early.
The result after just 40 mins, was it feels a bit wierd i feel like im only taking a half swing, but im not, my stance feels a bit narrower, but its strange it seems its sorted out so many problems like my plane my dipping, having a good weight transfer.
Ball striking wise its much much better, the club feels square at impact, the hight is much nicer, though u may laugh the biggest problem was the distance, im hitting the ball so much further i mean 8 iron carrying 160 yards, thats more than 20 yards further than normal, my pw i know goes 100 yards every time now its going 120.
That might sound great but its gonner mess me up on the course
