Danny Don,
How large a ferrule do you want - 0.350?
Very often one has the correct size but it does not appear so. Let me re-phrase that:
Most tips are 0.335 and logic would dictate that ferrules should be supplied in say size 0.337. Any space would be in-filled with black epoxy. What size do then infact come in - 0.335!
What does that mean in practice?
Why, when one receives a thick painted shaft such as a UST V2 the bally things do not fit!
So, one has to prep. the shaft for both the hosel AND the ferrule!
No big deal one might think. Unfortunately though it is:
(1) If one preps. it just a fraction too much then the paint is spoilt above the top line of the ferrule, and
(2) The edge of the prep. work needs to be 'feathered' in order to avoid a shaft break caused by a 'step fracture.'
(3) One has to force the last mm. or two onto virgin paint and such can fracture the ferrule.
Try to avoid either adding heat or acetone to the ferrule. Yes, I have tried it and it is so easy to end up in a mess! I have ruined ferrules by so messing about.
If you genuinely require a 0.350" and are based in the UK then I'll sell you a single one.
But, you will need to contact me direct as I do not visit here often.
