Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK that sells just the heads. Have tried golfsmith and will only let you but a set if you have an account with them.

Many Thanks

Daniel

You can't buy the components from Golfsmith in Europe. You have to be in the trade to open an account.

www.made2measuregolf.co.uk will make you a custom set though, I've used them they are quite good.

Difficult to get just heads as stated unless your in the trade.
You can buy out of a golfsmith shop in the US but i dont know if they would ship into another area probably not
They do make some nice quality irons

I have a set of 600c irons collecting dust - drop me an E-mail if you are interested in buying them ( I can pull the heads).

The shipping cost from the States, for small orders, makes it uneconomical.

You can buy just the heads from MadeToMeasure, but they are quite pricey. I did a quick test to compare the US Golfsmith prices and Made to Measure, and the heads were £17 in the US, £31 in the UK. The shipping costs weren't that high imo (about £15).

The problem is that Golfsmith won't sell you the snakeyes stuff online and ship to Europe... there's a warning in the detail of each snakeyes component to this effect.

Golfsmith have a large retail empire in the US but will only sell to the trade in Europe. Nice to see that they have a consistent corporate strategy.

Also as trade you have all the vat and duty applied as soon as the goods are imported at 20% impossible to get 60 kilos of product marked up as a gift lol
