I have just seen some multicoloured grips on funkygolfgrips.com and wondered if anyone had used them?

My clubs need regripping and I fancied something different to the standard black.
They are kinda expensive, £50+ for 9 grips, so I didnt want to shell out and then discover they only last half the time some lamkin or golf pride ones would.

Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated. (I wont bring up the 'shall I fit myself or get someone to do it for me' topic just yet!)

What until september when the coloured multi compounds come out. A much better and solid grip

Yeah they new multi compound grips look good . I have had coloured grips on my puuter though. Had a couple of they c-thru grips but they get dirty very quickly. So i just got a bright green IoMic grip. So far so good

I have always been a 'function not form' person and would hate to shell out that sort of money to find that they don't work well.

Dont they sell them singly to 'try before buy'

Just ordered a yellow one from www.funkygolfgrips.com - problems with server resulted in multiple orders being processed, but MD has just phoned me - very courteous and efficent and refunded full amount and dispatch overnight as compensation.
First class service - can't wait to try on my FT3. Will use again.

There seem to be a few of multicompound grips on ebay already. What is special about september?

Has anyone tried the Funky Golf Grips or the Golf Pride multi-compounds yet?

Now used the yellow one on my FT3 for the past 2 months - good grips and perform well in the wet.
Definitely worth a try and now waiting for a funky putter grip as well.
Only comment was that little difficult to fit as quite thin, but looks good now on!

Cheers Simon.

I think now is the time to start the (to quote Gordie) "'shall I fit myself or get someone to do it for me' topic".

Is it advisable for a rookie (with no equipment) to start regripping his own clubs?

Are there any good websites out there which help?
