Your money, your choice.
Seems more logical to buy the best of each type of club according to budget and what works best for you. I.e. why buy a Nike fairway wood just because you have a majority of Nike gear, if another actually works better for you? Try them all with open mind, buy what works best. Otherwise - it simply proves that marketing works.
Suspect that you would probably be in a minority. And a minority of people might laugh at you.

I used to have a full bag of Callaway gear, and to be honest I was certainly swayed to an extent by this when making additional purchases.

I have however since identified various weaknesses in my game and gradually changed odd clubs here and there as I found better options.

i dont think it is wrong...however it might look a bit boring with all the same style of headcover etc!

i would tend to think that you should buy what is best for you, and it probably isnt all the same make.

for example nike have a fairly good reputation for making woods recently, yet their putters are not perhaps the best on the market. manufacturers must spread their r and d budgets to specific areas to make sure they produce a leading product.

sooooo if you like one particular brand and the way their clubs are built, stick with them. otherwise try out everything possible!!!

I think it's OK if they fit you and are the best for your game but in my experience it's difficult to find one brand the performs well enough in all areas.

I play Taylormade woods, Ping irons, Mizuno wedges and a Yes! putter as I have found those the best for me in each respective area.

I do like to maintain consistency to some degree though. I'd find it difficult to play mixed brand wedges for example as the look/weight/feel etc would be different and i'd end up compensating in some way.

Totally agree with you ther 3 putts & A snap hook. i also prefer to have the same brand and model for wedges and woods and obviously irons.

whatever makes you happy. i play m675 because i love the look.

if it floats your boat...........

My only concern is that it might make other players think I'm better than I am (some sort of sponsorship!). For that reason I got a Mizuno bag to go with my new Callaway gear.

i know loads of ppl who have 1 brand bags and i have never thought they were gd because of it.

Depends........

If Nikeycallawaymadezunoland.com offered me £5 (or more) to play all their bats then.......

If you're a free spirit then, whatever takes your fancy.

Lets face it..... if you're >5, makes fcuk all diffence what driver, other than confidence which is 90% of the game!
