Can anyone help me. I have a Founders Club Cart bag. I got to South Essex last Sunday and was told that there was a trolley ban. So I had to hump my bag with one strap over a very boggy course. At the end of the round my bag was thick with mud as it kept falling over. Is there a free standing stand that I can fit to it and also a freestanding back strap which fits over both shoulders available on the market

To be honest Clive, you'd be better doing as I do and have a cart bag and a carry bag. In my experience clip-on stands never work and carry bags work much better. You can get some good deals on carry bags now and if I think the weather is dodgy I will put both in my car and just transfer the clubs over.

Im inclined to agree with Robster, i carry in the winter and then change over to a cart bag in the Summer.

Another agreement - two bags is the only way.
Some very good, cheap, carry bags available, 20 - 50 quid should do it.

I have an exceedingly light weight carry bag which weighs in at about only 2lbs and keep it in the car for the occasions when I carry.

I have an alluminium bag stand that I used to strap to it but to be honest they do tend to bend on the legs very easily.

Ps If you want a double strap stand bag, brand new unused yours just £12 plus post, around £8
