What sand wedge do I get a 13 year old girl? She's recently started playing and has a half set of graphite shafted dunlops from JJB. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sports Soccer/Sports World do clubs in various kids' sizes, but I don't know if they have a specialist sand wedge - and you can probably guess what quality they are. I imagine the standard position is she should start off using the PW from her starter set. Or how about trying her with a junior lob wedge for greenside bunkers?

However, at 13 she's soon going to be big enough for an adult ladies' set, so maybe just wait a year or two - how tall is she?

Try US Kids Golf - lightweight graphite shafts but still proper sticks. You purchase them according to height so you don't end up with something too long/short.

As for where - try this lot.

My lad had a set of the better players clubs (not the green shafted ones which are more for beginners) until he moved up to adult clubs and they seemed to work well.

Oh, and Scottsdale Golf lets you buy individual clubs in a range of sizes - £12.99 for a SW.
