After using a set of pinseekers i picked up from a car boot sale for a fiver for the last year i have been offered a set of titleist 822 to buy from a friend. I am currently using them to see if they suit my game but am finding the oversize and offset of the clubs difficult to get used to.This could also do with the fact i play of 28.My question is should i perservere or find another set of clubs

they are good clubs. there'e easier clubs to hit out there but not much and in my opinion the offset and oversize should help noy hinder your game.

I've had these for over 4 years now and have thought about changing but ended up getting them regripped instead. I think they're great and although I like shiny new toys (I've bought more drivers than hot dinners) I'll be sticking with my 822OS for a while yet.

I also have been hitting 822 OS' for the last year and I loved them from the start, but then again I changed from a £150 all in set!!

For you though it sounds to me like your mind is made up, if your not happy with a club you've already lost half the battle before you even hit the ball. Try something else or ask the pro at your local course what they think

Thanks all for your replys come to the conclusion its me not the clubs who are to blame. Gonna keep the clubs as when i do hit them sweet i can get good distance on them, the next step is to have lessons with the course pro
