Still looking for a new driver nad with Santa's arrival imminent I have heard some good reports about MD drivers, but at the moment haven't got time to nip to Garforth to try one out. So has anyone got/used one and what do you think of them. They seem to be a reasonable price so are they worth the outlay???

Never tried the drivers, but have a MD putter and rescue club.  They are both Really good quality and were as nice as more expensive clubs for me.

 Like all clubs it is going to come down to whether they fit you or not, but as a general recommendation I would say MD are up there with the Premium brands. 

I use all MD gear.

The superstrong driver is great, head is fairly traditional but the best part of the deal is the shaft. Prolaunch blue in a club which I got new for under £100.

The new stuff is using the UST v2 shafts aswell.

If you get the chance hit it at a range and compare it with some of the more expensive offerings.

MD overall are superb. They have taken over my bag in the last year or so. My woods and irons are every bit as good as I'd get from the so-called premium brands.

However, my driver is one of the last survivors from other brands. I have a Benross driver, and they are another company who produces great quality clubs, using excellent components at decent prices (my driver was £80 - although the rrp was £130).
