i have been on the website for leadbetter interactive and must admit looks ok but it is only a few bits of the whole set.

is it really worth 30-40 quid

yes I got it for Christmas - one of the pressies from the outlaws (maybe they do really hate me ??? )

I've sat and watched all the DVDs and I like it  - coming from somebody who has always found the previous teachings of DL to be somewhat mechanical by approach and add the fact that anybody who wears a straw hat that looks too large for them should be viewed with suspicion then high praise indeed  ..... !

I was very sceptical when I used to see it advertised on the Golf Channel and to be honest there is no way I could have ever seen myself parting with the original £70 asking price for it  --  at its present cost of around £40 in JJB I'd quite willingly (now I've seen it) fork out my own money for it   ...... ! (2nd bit of high praise)

thankfully DL has dropped all that late 80s teaching method that had you doing practice swings with a beach ball trapped between your inner thighs and your elbows jammed in position with a figure of 8 piece of elastic wrapped around them and stuck with the more conventional methods that still get his way across - being on DVD and thus visual makes the whole experience easy to understand and painless ...

obviously in the same way a new driver costing £X amount of pounds isn't going to transform you into a Tour Player overnight then neither will this DVD set after just one viewing  --  for some reason golf doesn't work like that  (note to self  --  you'll never get a job in marketing !!!! )   ---  but if you sit down and view the set with an open enough mind , have an understanding of the golf swing (and what it sets out to achieve) and have time to adopt some of the methods and practice them I'm convinced enough the guy knows his onions sufficiently enough about golf and the golf swing to improve Mr Average

what's set out across the DVDs aint rocket science by any stretch of the imagination , DL (like any decent teacher) can't stress enough and get the point across about the fundamentals of grip , aim , stance , posture , ball position  --  all that basic boring stuff that Mr Average ignores really yet is seemingly important enough to warrant a 'whole' DVD on the subject in this set  and is the DVD where many links back from the others in regards cures for direct you ...

the whole set is well filmed , informative , easy to follow (because it's visual) , suprisingly very interactive and IMO worth the £40 price tag  --  I'd still always say go with a pro you trust for lessons every time and still stick by that , 2nd to that (and additional to it) I'd say the DL interactive DVD set is a more than decent enough view with sufficient enough teaching on it to help many a player overcome those times of trouble that occur just about every month throughout the season

Got to agree with Paul W on that one, the only problem I have is that I have to watch it and thats it. My living room where the TV - DVD is has a ceiling that is not high enough for me to copy the routines, swing planes etc, so its not really interacive for, but its still informative.

Oh how I wish my ceiling was a couple of foot higher and the lights did not interfere with my backswing
