Placed another order with Pricebsuter about a week ago. Normally their delivery is very quick but have not heard anything for about a week so emailed them. Didn't get a reply to this so tried phoning them (and have been doing for the last 2 days) but their phone lines keep ringing out. I've tried their 08 number and 01229 number with no joy! HELP!!

 There was a problem about a year ago? when the guy who runs it got kicked out of his pro shop / driving range? Don't know what the outcome was? As a tip try ringing the Furness golf center nr Barrow in furness, I may be wrong but i think they had dealings with the guy who runs pricebuster?

Gone bust be very careful indeed. Know several people still waiting for refunds from non delivered goods 2 months ago.

They did get an answer a couple of weeks ago on the phone and were given some pony excuse that the guy that dealt with the refunds was on holiday in the states. Tried phoning to chase up the matter and no answer.

 Blimey, I thought they were one of the good ones - must make sure I don't post any more links to them. Maybe that explains why all over Christmas I kept getting "£10 off if you spend £50" vouchers by email...

 What?!?! Pricebustergolf has gone bust? I to always thought these were one of the good guys. I thought they were just trying to get rid of old stock before getting in some new gear. I had always used them and had always used them as my first port of call. What a shame. I dont know who I'l use now.

 I have done a search on the Insolvency Service website for "Price Buster Golf" and "Price buster" but the search came up negative, though the search only looks for insolvent/bankrupt cases from the last three months. Maybe contact them and they could put you on to the insolvency practitioner in charge of the case if they have gone under that is.

 Must have gone bust very recently. I bought a couple of pairs of Footjoys around 22nd January 2008.

 Bought a bag three weeks ago, £20 cheaper than anywhere else and it arrived the next day. I hope they haven't gone bust, I've used them several times and always thought they were excellent.

 Of course it's always easy to assume these outfits are bigger than they really are. Maybe it's just a small family business and they've taken advantage of the off-season to have a well-earned holiday for a couple of weeks?

 Bought a bag and a rescue club under 2 weeks ago and they arrived as usual a couple of days later. I noticed their stock was running out but assumed they were selling off the older kit before getting new stuff in. Hope this ain't true as they were the best on the net IMO.

I LIVE LOCAL TO PRICEBUSTERS AND CALLED IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. PLACE WAS OPEN BUT NO ONE THERE.THIS IS A VERY "BIG WAREHOUSE. upstairs is where they deal with all internet/ phone calls etc Downstairs they are in the process of building a "BIG" new shop. when i called there I could have probably walked out with all kinds of gear as there was no one about. I have called back only two days ago and the doorsare shut. so don't know whats going on. However i will call again and let you all know.

I too bought from the recently. If they have gone under it would be a real shame has they have always offered decent service so far as I am concerned.

Tried ringing them again this morning......still no answer! Looks like I'll have to get try and get my money clawed back through my credit card
