I have got to the stage where I need a new stand bag as the edge of mine has ripped and is now scraping the graphite shafts.......and I haven't bought anything for a while.

I have been looking at the following three and wondered if anyone had any views or of course recommendations, the three are

Nike Sasquatch Tour Stand Bad

Sun Mountain Superlite 3.5 2008

Ogio Grom

Thoughts from those that are using any of these or other recommendations appreciated

Thanks

I've got the Nike Sasquatch Tour Stand bag. Got to say it's a million miles better than my last bag. Plenty of pockets means you won't run out of space, it has a cooler pocket for drinks, a waterproof pocket for valuables the ball pocket holds plenty of balls (just to try it out i filled it with 70 balls and their was still room!). The carry strap is fantastic, very comfortable and easy to adjust, it is also removable should you want to put it on a trolley. 14 Full length divided club organiser is very good as keeping the clubs getting tangled, though you may need to do some reorganising on how you order your clubs in the bag. It's quite light at 5lbs empty, my bag was the only one in the gales yesterday that didn't blow over so would appear to be sturdy (either that or i just took a bit more care than the other guys!).

Ogio, best you can get in my opinion, constantly researching new inventions to make the simple golf bag better. Inventions that are also copied by many other leading brands.

yep ogio. my mates just bought the grom . and its by far the best bag ive ever seen , looked at and carried. theres features on it which make more sense every time u see them.

the bottle holder is the best ive seen on any bag i cant belive everyone aint copied it.

ive just bought a staff bag but if i went back to carrying i would buy ine for certain.

Iv just got an asbri inspirion stand bag for £70. It's quite light, loads of pockets, separate putter well and a comfortable strap, plus you can customise it with a flag or your name.

I use the ogio grom. Find it to be very stylish and the woode club management system is uselful.

However, the back rest did start to fray after a couple of rounds and the legs are renowned for getting quite loose.

I found the Callaway Warbird to be an excellent bag for what its worth.

I am looking for a stand bag as a present but am only looking to spend up to £50.00. Anybody got any suggestions?

Izzo Easy - ticks all the boxes for 50 quid (discounted) I have one and it is superb.

Put this up in another thread when there were a few for sale - this seems the only one still selling - the others have sold out.

Jamie, knock the black leg divider up an inch or so, tightens the legs nicely.

Well I got title bag paid 90 pound for it around 7 month ago in a pro shop so should be on net for around 70. Really light only blown over once due to me putting it on a hill side ways. As like any bag you need to put it at a decent angle. Also got good feet. Some bags are just poles and are very flimsy (how ever that is spelt)
