Anyone tried one? I have just hit a few down the range with one of the new 08 models and I think I may have found the new driver I've been looking for! Just wondered what others thought about them (apart from the fact they are noisy - I think we all know about that already! The 08 version has had the noise tweaked - it does sound better!)

forgot to add - it is still on the noisy side but not as bad as a SumoSQ2 I tried as well.

I've got the new 3 wood it's a cracking club easy to use off tee and deck and good distance. I'm tempted by the driver but can't really justify the cost or the fact my existing is behaving fine. Don't you just love new kit though.

No-one is to buy any Cobra gear until they remove that bloody advert!!!!!!

Was a speed LD/M. Was hitting it miles (well for me anyway - i would never pretend to be a real big hitter but easily carrying over the 200yrd markers at the range). Will definitely be buying one! I think the Cobra driver comes in a bit cheaper than most of it's rivals. I also looked at a TM Burner (to match my 3 wood) but it was £20 more and I didn't hit it as well so will go with the Cobra. I agree with Monkeytaff, that advert is bloody annoying but I can't let it stand in the way of my game!
