All

I'm looking to get a visor, but my local pro shop doesn't stock that great a choice so I'll be buying on-line.  I have quite a large head (all that concrete!) and a lot of hats and caps don't fit me.  As sizes tend to vary between manufacturer, does anyone konw who make 'large' one-size-fits-all visors?

Cheers

MAttie don't do it. You will look a complete to55er wearing a visor.

I have only worn one once, when it was absolutely scorching hot in summer of 2006. I managed to get a sun burnt head while playing golf.

Oh stop laughing, it's not that funny

I too have large nuggin and find that usually only TaylorMade caps fit me, although some of them don't sit right either.

Cheers for reply

I must admit I was torn.  I don't much like caps or visors, but I can't stand getting sun in my eyes and a red-roasted forehead!  I can't imagine wearing sunglasses, so a visor at least would be useful - I went  out on saturday, absolutely glorious but pretty dazzling.

Part of the reason for going for a visor over a cap is that it's more likely to fit, as it's just got to get round the brow and not over the crown as is the case for a cap.  If taylormade caps come up large, I may be tempted though.......

Callaway do a range of visers, which you can get at American golf.

They looked good on Colin  Montgomerie(have you seen him in a cap!)

ONLY wear one if you have a good head of hair

Most visors are adjustable "one size fits all".  I wear one rather than a cap, becuase caps always look like "a pimple on a dutch cheese" on me!

I also wear glasses and the visors helps in both sunny and rainy weather.

Nowt wrong with visors in my opinion!

Right, Callaway visor on order - 3 quid in on-line sale, cheers for recommendations.

Steve, I'm always a bit dubious about the one-size-fits-all - I must fall outside of the percentile they consider 'all' as they never seem to fit - but hopefully the visor will be less of a squeeze than a cap!

I often wear a visor over the top of my warm Beanie hat in winter and find that most one size visors have enough adjustent to stretch that far.

I always wear full size visors because I find that modern hats and modern hat style visors do not cut out enough of the sunlight at the sides.

In the summer i find that a visor tends to make you not sweat so much as a cap, lets the heat out and the air into my mop, never wore a cap since, they get soaking wet and stained.

Am I the only sweaty headed person on the forum????
