after a 10 year lay off ive picked up the clubs again and joined a new golf club. I stopped playing when i was 13 (playing off 12). This is what i currently have in my bag.....

Taylor Made 10.5* R150 Driver

Mizuno MX-25 4-PW Irons - Dynamic Gold, Regular Shafts

RAM - Tom Watson 55* wedge

Ping Anser Putter

ive got a Cleveland Halo 19* in the post so that takes my club total to 11.

just wandered if any of you could recommend what i get to fill the bag up. Definitley looking for a 3 wood, got either the Ping G2 or G5 in mind at the minute.

If you need any more info to give me advice then ask and ill post it up

any help would be great

Best woods out there by a country mile are sonartec and should be cheap at the mo as the company have gone bust !!

you've got quite a gap between PW and SW there, mate. I'd invest in a gap wedge of about 50 degrees.

Just a small point, if you have been away for sometime you may not be aware about non conforming drivers and your Taylormade R510 could be on the list see

The Mizuno PW is 46 degree and that leaves a big gap to your SW so I would recommend filling the gap with a PW around the 51 degree mark. Personally I always like some sort of deep rough long hitting club and carry a 7 wood.

i can very much recommend G5 fairway woods. i have both the 3 and the 5 and they are great clubs.

with your set-up, i would probably have favoured the driver, a 5 wood and not bothered with the rescue club.

Nice bag still

Good decision on a 19* rescue - far more versatile than a 5 wood - sorry Bazzason

Agree with the 51/52* gap wedge requirement and 3 wood for the 'must make the fairway' tee shots and also off the deck - that would leave a nice progression right through the set and should serve you well.

That Ram 55, does it say 'Troon grind' or just 'Troon' on it? I will buy it if it does, and you can buy a nice new shiney one! Nice bag btw, your choice of 3 wood is fine and a driver to match could be in order

ps or does it say Cobalt on the wedge?
