Can anyone put a shaft in a driver head?

Hi everyone

I recently got rid of my trusty R5 TP (and almost instantly regretted it) because I found the diamana shaft a little low in terms of ball flight.

I see an R5 TP head for sale on Ebay and wonder if anyone on the forum is able to supply and fit a shaft - dont really know which one, I'd decide if and when I bought the head, but something with a slightly higher kick point than the standard Diamana (blue - I think) that comes with this club.

I really liked the driver, just a little too hard work when the swing was a little off - most others I've looked at seem to sit a bit closed at address, which I hate. The TP range seems much more pleasing on the eye.

www.midasgolf.co.uk and talk to Shaun if you want honest informed opinion on what is the best shaft for your game.

IMO id go for a Grafalloy ProLaunch blue ( lower kick point but still quite tight ) either in reg or stiff depending on if you have a strong fast tempo swing or a smoother transition. It will need to be .335 tip to fit the R5 TP head.
