I am looking at changing me driver as the shaft is too stiff. As AG were the only people with the driver in stock I wanted to try I booked a custom fit with them. I went down taking my current driver as a comparison in order to try the G10 10.5 and 12 deg with UST shaft. After hitting about 30 balls with the three clubs all the lad could tell me was that any of the three were suitable, despite showing launch angles between 11 and 19 degress and varying spin rates. There was also a carry difference of 70 yards.

Just confirmed to me they are clowns. Got a session booked with a respected pro shop later in the week

AG Custom fitting

If you currently use a 10.5 Stiff then you will be told to buy 13 Reg

If you use 13 Reg you will be told to buy 10.5 Stiff

Did they try and offload some driver you didn't even want onto you?

I hope your launch angle did not vary 8 degrees between a 10.5 and a 12 degree and i hope the carry difference was not 70 yards if so you were mad not to buy the one going 70 yards further

thats the thing, they weren't interested full stop. By the end the lad couldn't even remember which shots I had hit with which club. A complete waste of time apart from confirming what my swing speed was.
