There are many social golfers who have very little interest in competition golf but enjoy golf as a hobby and social activity and nothing more, so what harm are they doing to any one for a percieved few extra yards on a drive. Plus the added bonus of picking up a good driver for a cheaper price due to it being illegal
But i think the pro shop has to inform the buyer that the driver is illegal and not allowed in competition golf.
Its a win win situtation, the pro gets a few quid and the social golfer gets a bargain of a driver.
