Am considering a Powakaddy Twinline 3 to reduce the fatigue of carrying my bag but two things are bothering me; 1; How does the trolley perform with regard to bag twisting? I do realise that Powakaddy bags are available for a better fit to prevent this but how do other cart bags fair?
2; I`ve already received a bit of "ribbing" for looking at the trolley option as opposed to carrying, so was wondering just how many people out there (regardless of age!) prefer a trolley to carrying a bag?!

Regards.

Only get a push trolley. Stay away from pull trolleys.

I push from time to time and it is a good option to have, especially if it is a competition round (which can be slow at my club) or you are taking the full kit (wets and spare clothes etc).

IIWY I would buy a push trolley (PKs are very good) so you have the option.

As for the bag twist, it has never been too much of a problem for me. Yes a stand bag on a trolley will not sit perfectly but most trolley bags will be fine.

I bought a PK about 3 weeks ago and have had no problem with my Cobra cart bag twisting, although it always twisted on my pull trolley.  There is another thread going about carrying/using a trolley so you may wish to look at that to find some of your answers

Am I assuming correctly the twinline 3 is classed as a push trolley?

3 wheels = push

2 wheels = pull

1 wheel = unicycle

0 wheels = CARRY!!!!

And 4 wheels = buggy!

I prefer the 3 wheel push trolley, less twisting and more even load on your back.  I bought the clicgear fold up trolley from the states, which is a nice bit if kit and doesnt take up too much boot space.  still get some ribbing and comments about pushing a pram, but you feel better going up the 18th.  I still prefer to carry if its just a quick nine holer.
