i figured somthing out recently thats my new magic move and i hope others can benefit from it.

so many golfers suffer from the out to in swing path resulting in slices, and weak fades.

when i try to really nail it my right arm becomes really dominant and i come over the top and hit a crap shot.

what i realised is if i lead with my left arm it comes from in to out every time. try swining the club with just your left arm and you should see the club coming from the inside.

so on the down swing when its time for the arms to come in try leading with the left arm and see what happens

Josh, that works for you so I won't dismiss it. But to offer another perspective - I only swing with one arm (right), so I am right arm dominant. But I do have an in to out swing path and hit draws /  hooks / blocks, never a slice. So I'm not sure that there is a corellation between arm dominance and swing path?

I'm with McStumpy. I don't think there is a magic move of golf - but it may be magic for you, which is all that matters.

I battle against an out-to-in swing and I am left-arm dominant. The out to in swing isn't caused by my arms, it's caused by overactive shoulders.

But glad you found something that works for you.

Wot! No magic move of golf. Of course there is, and one day I'm going to find it.

closest thing I found to a "magic move" was in an instruction book... begin the downswing with the arms pushing the club back and down (feel almost like you are swinging the club away from the target - it'll still come round cos its attached to your arms!)

what I think this does is to help get away with the desperate urge to get the clubhead back to the ball as quickly as possible- which can sometimes lead to a desperate lunge at the ball and an over the top move leading to an out to in swingpath.

Takes a little getting used to, but eventually turns your golf swing into more of a "swing" than a "hit".

My dad always talks about "pulling the bell".

Unless he wasn't talking about golf... ??

...or, as I've heard mentioned in the past: "You don't push a chain!"

it is the magic move of golf you lot just suck and have no magic in you!

I recently heard that chain line too.

My favourite male caddy taught me something similar too:

Left down, right follow through.

pull it down, push it up, basically. Works for me.

Magic moves that last would be a highly marketable comodity. I hope this one lasts longer than the skin on my Pro V1s
