Anyone know why the Volvo PGA tournament isn't on TV anywhere? I find this very strange, particularly in light of the strong field. Considering some of the tournaments that get shown on Sky Sports, like Senior Player tournaments (no disrespect to them), it's very odd that this tournament isn't being covered in any way. Anybody got any ideas why?
I couldn't find it on the listings for Thursday, maybe it was my paper. There should be a highlights programme in the evening, I wonder how many people get the chance to watch it during the day.
I agree with you there, Evan. I was looking last night, and saw the coverage finished at 6:00 - just as I get in! Had to make do with the PGA on Sky at 9:00.
There is a god! I'm signed off sick from work at the moment so I get a lesson or head down to the driving range in the morning and I get to watch the PGA in the afternoon.
I'd like to know what your employers would think if they knew you were hitting balls while signed off sick!!
Seriously though I know a guy who had some "issues" with his head and he was encouraged to keep up his hobby. He's a keen climber and he used to go to the local "climbing wall" to relieve his stress.
Well funnily enough my employers do know and for the time being they are OK with it. Part of my rehabilitation from the stress that I have been suffing from has been to get out and excercise and golf has been my chosen form but when I go back to work I intend to have a life outside of it and golf for me is a good way to ensure I do.
