Not sure if any of you got a flyer from Direct Golf today.

They are having a Taylor Made sale and I have picked up a TM Rescue 2 iron replacement for £68!

There are lots of deals on, so if you are in the market, "fill your boots"

Yeah, I went looking for a rescue mid, ended up buying a set of Rac OS irons (Spent my wage before I've even got it!!!)

Show/hide user stats

Roberto

They must have had a real special on the day you were on as I had a heart attack with their prices. I paid less for my TP at AGD and I managed to negotiate a ball supply with it.

I'm sorry for my ignorance...what's AGD???
Show/hide user stats
AGD is American Golf Discount.

A great place to shop if the staff understood the concept of customer service.
Show/hide user stats
OK OK..AGD is: American Golf Discount...right??...but for me the problem is that AGD and others online golf shop don't process International orders online..and for me that I live in Italy onlinegolf has the best prices and shipping costs
Show/hide user stats
Sorry, I did not realise that we had gone european on the site.

Welcome. I had a quick look at County Golf who are ok and they deliver to Italy, but I am not sure if it is online.

How popular is Golf in italy?
Show/hide user stats
I believe in you when you talk about AGD...but...read please my mail sended to an onlinegolf employee and his reply....what you think about really?!??
(Please don't you laugh for my english)

"Dear James, I hope that you remember of me..I'm Aureliano from Milan (Italy) and i want to explain to you my little problem.
In Fri, 16 Apr 2004 I ordered Nike T-40 Oversize Fairway Wood (graphite shaft) Special Limited Offer!! Mens R/H 5 Wood (19°) Regular Flex (order number:378573); 4 days ago, when I was playing for practice, the head of the T-40 cut off clearly from the shaft with my great bewilderment. There's something that you can do for me?? There's a warranty in this case??I bought many things from your site and i want to buy more thing again because you know that I appreciate so much your quality, your seriousness and reliability...but I read that another guy with T-40 had my same problem.

Best regards
aureliano

"Good Afternoon,

I am very sorry to hear of the problem you have experienced. This is not
good news. Your club will still be under warranty of one year. Therefore,
please send the club back to us. We will refund the cost of the postage
that you pay when we receive your club. Then we will send out a replacement
for you if you still have the trust in the quality of the brand. Usually
they produce equipment of the highest standards. I am not sure why there
has been a problem this time."

...for m that I live in Italy is the customer relation that I found in my online purchases

ciao

A top reply.

This is what AGD do not do well, even when you go in a store.

Did the club turn up promptly?

One of my mates ordered from County and raved about them afterwards. I have found just as good a service from Direct Golf, but as you say, this is all in the UK.

Do you not have online ordering in Italy? Maybe there is a business oppourtunity there.

Now in Italy golf is becoming very popular but not too much as in UK...the problem is that the costs to practice this beautiful game are so expensive in Italy and the ther big problem is that the italian golf federation (association???) is very incapable to develop golf in Italy
Show/hide user stats
Sounds good.

Whilst it may be a slow burn on the development, I hope that it does not grow into the old boy network that seems to populate our clubs in the UK.

I thought I was at a good club until recently, when I was told that we had been discussed, prior to a competition at our club and then complained about afterwards when we beat our oppenents 2&1!

I 've received my new club in one week...no..in Italy we don't have online golf shop...In my country the prices for clubs or general equipments are more expensive than UK...more or less 30/40% more...unbelievable isn't it??!!

I thought to create an online golf shop in Italy....now..if you want to do an Italian online shop business too....we can think about together!! :)

I bought a Powakaddy from www.addicted2golf.co.uk it was delivered next day, post free. And I got it cheaper than anywhere else. Worth a try I would say.

Mr Bellies, would that be a certain club between Headcorn and Sutton Valence?

You must be viewing on high at my great 2nd shot on 7 that really upset them!

Do you have any experience of the club we do not mention?
Show/hide user stats
Living in SV I'm always on high!

I've found a nice little club just a few miles further on, Hemstead Forest, dirt cheap to join and a fantastic course.
