Speaking of bargains: the bag that I had was an old, heavy, uncool vinyl affair that didn't have enough pockets and looked decidedly uncool, again.

One day I was walking through Asda and noticed golf bags for £15. It looked much better than mine, it had plenty of roomy pockets, it was made of Cordura and it was slightly cooler than mine.

Without hesitation, I picked one, strode purposefully to the checkout (used to be called "Tills") and proffered my debit card.

I was then informed that the bag was wrongly priced (oh oh!) and that it was actually £7.50!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked to ensure that nobodywas draining urine from my body and, very quickly, paid up and left.

Have I bought a pile of crud? I don't know, but it will put me on until I find the desperate yearning for a bag with a big name printed on it.

If it lasts 6 months what have you lost. Play once a week, cost per use is about 25p.

Bargain

Even better, it came with a 12 month warranty.

However, I would imagine I would only receive my £7.50 back if I claimed.

So far, no complaints. It's survived a torrential downpour and it carries all that I need.

I'm on the lookout for a new Stand bag..Worth a look at that price..

I currently have an Ogio Amp cart bag and cannot fault it.

The Asda stand bags are about £25. I wanted one to fit on my trolley, which it does more than adequately.

Hey has anyone tried this bag from sunmountain http://www.sunmountain.com/default.php?cPath=2782_2783_2767&osCsid=c987ca342a86d947fcf45b8e6efc473b

I like the idea of using the same bag for carry or cart.
