Has anybody heard about the Golf Fair due to be held at Birmingham Motorcycle Museum on July 27/28?

Is anybody likely to go?

The main "GolfShow" that was due to be held at the NEC later this year has been cancelled - I'm told due to lack of interest from the main club manufacturers. (Is this true our golfmagic members at Taylormade and Mizuno?)

Public/Trade feedback?

Ashley, GOLFmagic had a stand there about 2 years ago. The turnout to the show was disappointing, particularly on the trade side. I think a number of the big manufacturers now see the golf show in Marbella as the main european show, and as such save the expenditure for that event. Not great for the UK golfing public who want to go to the NEC.
2 years ago there were a number of members of the golfing public who turned up to see all the latest golfing gear, only to find that much of it wasn't on show.
So, if you've heard that it's been cancelled for that reason, I wouldn't say I'm too surprised.
