I was given one of the new Callaway HX hot to try and was just getting to grips with it when I lost it on the 5th hole.

What a day to have the pull hooks.

Inital immpressions were wow what an improvement over the Black much nicer on the putting greens with the soft feel of the HX blue.

Have to say I really enjoyed the HX Hot balls as well. Thought they were fantastic. Unfortunately I still lose too many during a round to justify the price. :o(

I didn't think they were any better than the BB red. Well thay weren't £4 more a dozen better.

I use the HX hot and find they are great balls, Really impressive on distance and the work great with my putter (DFX 2 ball).

My local pro shop sells them for £17 a box which is great plus I bought a load when I was in the States
