Demo'd the 11* with green NVS about 3 months back an liked alot.. might go hit some more balls with it an try the graphalloy blue too, an try it right up against a few other drivers.. Cobra, Callaway ,Big Bertha etc.. any others I should have a swing with?

Other clubs you might try TM r5 DUAL, Cleveland Launcher, on the cheaper end Benross V12, RAM FX9, MD Golf Super strong.

May wanna wait a while. The G5 will be coming soon, so u could either get that or get a good deal on a G2. Cleveland launcher comp is getting some love, as is the ignite

yep...thats the blighter..had another mare off the tee with my newly (cheaply) acquired R540 today which is pushing me towards taking the plunge... Think I might go an hit a few drivers an shaft options tomorrow at the range an then have a good think..

 Just bought my G2 and for the first time ever I actually want to get the driver out on the tee as it just gives me so much confidence.
Go for it, I guarantee it will make you feel better!!

I found the same Matt. I struggled with my old driver, but the G2 just inspires confidence. Although a guy at our club last night did say that he had heard that everyone goes through a honeymoon period with a new driver until things start going wrong. I hope this honeymoon period lasts for an infinite period, as I'm hitting the ball longer and straighter than ever. :o)

Been to hit some balls an guess what..they hardly had any ping G2's.. Just one in fact with the stock rgular shaft. They did however have a few others so I tried the
R5 dual (d bias).... 2nd place
titleist 905.. 3rd place
BB 454 4th place
but the winner today was....
cobra 460 with green NV shaft..
Was a strong l/r cross wind at the range today so a lot of hits were fading an I'm not sure if was me or the clubs..I am not going to base too much on today's findings..but this mother flew.. just a pity they never had the G2 in all it's guises to put up against it..they are getting a stock in at the weekend so the big shoot out is happening next Monday or Tuesday then I'm off to Eire for a couple of weeks to ponder an make my decision.. might even find it cheaper over there.. Bit worried about shelling out now an then finding the G2 for £30 or £40 less in a month or 2 due to the impending arrival of the G5..

a couple of weeks from when I filled in the application..the pin arrived 1st an then the card about 5 days later.. still haven't used it..
