Hi,

I've just got a Field and Scott Striker trolley from ebay & i'm not sure it's working correctly.

Battery is fully charged, fix to the trolley, put the trolley in my front room which is carpeted (should simulate grass resistance - short pile :) ), anyways I turn the control to fully on & the motor spins away but the trolley just doesnt move at all.

If anything, this is just a power assisted trolley - I was under the impression that assuming I put it on full power, that it would move on it's own accord across the terrain.

Even when I put it on my kitchen floor which is tiled, it doesnt really make much progress.

Do I have a faulty trolley or is this how they all work?

I've mailed the supplier but obviously it's weekend so don't expect to hear before tommorrow.

Anyone assist please :)

i have one si.
check the tyres are pushed on to the axle properly also check that there is a pin where the motor connects to the axle.

OK the wheels are deffo locked in place with the locator pins in the slots.

When I turn it on, I can see the pins spinning round and round which also turns what looks like a bearing in the wheel - theres no way the wheel will turn though unless it's lifted into free air.

On yours, do the wheels lock to the spindle?

i hav'nt got a field and scott but you may find the wheels are on the wrong axle just swap them over,i had a similar problem, i hope this works for you

aww man I owe you a big one, can't beleive I didnt think of that myself. Jeez does this thing move fast, pulled my arm out stopping it on the carpet lol

had to go out before i could reply but steve got it in one, easy mistake to make si
by the way if you have any problems with your trolley graham at f&s trys to sort it out straight away i snapped one of the buckles on mine i e-mailed him and he sent me a new one free of charge by the next post.

I gotta say i'm really pleased with it so far, build quality is good, nice and compact & I got the transport bag for it as well which is great.

Can't wait to get it on the course now :)

Just won a set of Titelist DCI990's too so gonna be a busy week at the course/range testing.
