Chris, I haven't played Torphin but know it pretty well - I live nearby, can see it from my bedroom window, and regularly walk past so have seen many of the holes. For once, Kenny is talking sense 
It's fine for a knock, but not a course I would choose to play. Condition wise looks fine, it's just very hilly with some strange holes.
