Am having problems with driver and always hitting blocks to the right. Doesnt happen with any other club. Have stiff shaft in driver but then have stiff shafts in all other clubs! Does anyone think the shaft could be part of the problem?

Whats the shaft in your driver, is it stock or a special one and what are the shafts iny our irons? Also what is your bad shot with your irons?

stock srixon stiff. In irons i have Dynamic Gold S300. Bad with irons is a pull

LAst 3 weeks. Am playing the same and as well as i have done for ages except driver (and putter!)

is that a curving pull or a straight pull

can be a straight pull or can be the odd hook

Wouldn't worry about it, Tiger was missing fairways wide right on Sunday. Just learn to look up, see it heading wide right, say under your breath but heard by the microphones "ahh Tiger...... FORE RIGHT" and hold your hand out to the right. Then stuff your next wedge from 150 yards out into 12 feet from the thick rough......

Difficult to say without seeing your swing, but IMHO if you are loosing distance and the ball flight is low and you are blocking the ball to the right, the shaft is probably too stiff. Otherwise, its you.......

Can you feel the shaft loading? Does it feel 'boardy'?

ball flight is not low. I get a good high flight. Swing speed is fairly quick. Not had it checked with driver but 89 MPH with 6 iron. IN all honesty i think it may be technique

I had this problem , teaching pro suggested I talked to a club maker. Result took out my Callaway firm shaft and installed Graffaloy prolite and fatter grip. It is a much easier game when you play on the short grass.
Basically the guy put a "speedometer" behind the tee , measured my swing speed over 10 drives and then fitted the right shaft.
It all relates to torque in the shaft and getting back to square CONSISTENTLY.
