Justin Rose's new golf shoes

Noticed Justin was wearing a new model spikeless Adidas golf shoe on the weekend - the "Street" according to the GM Home page article.

Have had a quick look and they seem to be pretty identical to the Ecco shoes worn by Fred Couples.  They get some decent reviews, but anyone here actually tried these, or any other spikeless shoe?  I can see they might be ok in the US in their generally warm and dry conditions, but anyone tried them in  the UK? Do they provide enough grip in wet or damp conditions?  Any feedback would be welcome.

Not sure the old boys at my club could ever accept them as golf shoes, they struggle enough with shorts, especially cargo shorts even when made by golf specific brands.

I have been wearing the ecco's all season, they are lighter and very comfortable. I also use to have the footjoy moulded sole shoes that they sell to pro's etc.. But these shoes are suitable for dry conditions or dew covered grass. They are not suitable for wet conditions, I wear std footjoy AQL's for those conditions.

My Dad has asked me to find a picture of Justin Rose wearing the Eccos as he's wearing a pair to his Club tomorrow. It's a similar style Club to Dan S's so the old boys won't be happy! Hence we need proof they're worn at the PGA to combat criticism!
