New Driver Problem... Please Help

Hi All...

I am in the market for a new driver... I am hoping someone can help....

A few days a go I picked up an R1 and hit it 20 yards longer than my current driver... both on the range and on a launch monitor... But before spending 300 quid on a driver I want some advise from a fitter. He gave me an Orka driver with a UST stiff shaft and it seemed to hit it well.... Now I have a few options...

1) Buy the R1? It looked good, felt OK and go a long way.....but only having one shaft option.. it put question in my mine if it is the best shaft for me (300)

2) Buy the R1? get it reshafted at a later date by the fitter? (400 to 450)

3) Suggested by the fitter get the old 910 D3 head (I head that I like) from ebay and get the fitter to shaft it (200 to 250)

4) Go with the Orka Driver.. (supply by the fitter) and have the right shaft put in (200)

Am I being a golf snob? Could someone beat some sense into me please?

Thank you

Current swing speed 103 mph... mid to high launch

a grafalloy prolaunch red will get the flight down and can be got for ??30. never heard of that ust shaft.if you want to expetiment with shafts then get an older taylormade and shaft yourself it really is easy. or look for a titleist ad you say, tons of after market shafts available on ebay.
all depends if you trust the fitter or think your being hoodwinked.

This fitter is very good (according to everybody) and I have spoken to him, he seems to fit a lot of tour players too...

He will know a lot more than me at the very least and he has all these toys in his workshop!!

right after googling the flatline shaft is a made for orka by ust, high ball flight shaft.no way its worth more than ??20ish imo.given that orka heads can be had pretty cheap i would say 200 bangers is a bit pricey.it's a 2010 shaft.
not saying it's wrong for you,go with the driver that gives you the best combo of distance and dispersion,in the end everybody is different.
