So h'e going to play, what, 5 events in 2012?
Apparently he's filming Shrek 4 so has to cut back on the golf a bit.
I think there are probably close to 10 events that are co-santioned so he can play all the majors, and all the WGC events (as he normally would anyway) and get around 10 events of those 15 covered on both tours ... so in reality he is probably only adding about 5 events to what would be his normal schedule.
That sounds about right - an extra 5 or so events - and he'll be gaining useful experience on American soil for the Ryder Cup next Autumn in Chicago
Bit of a strange one for me, he's always said how much of a commitment he wants to make to playing in Europe and that the Euro tours flagships events will always be more important to him, but it's supposedly to do with it being a Ryder Cup year, which probably makes sense.
