Grayson Murray slams Champions Tour on Twitter

PGA Tour pro takes dig at over 50s circuit, then deletes tweets.

Just two weeks removed from reactivating his deactivated Twitter account, PGA Tour professional Grayson Murray is shouting his mouth off once again.

Murray, who won his maiden PGA Tour title at the Barbasol Championship this summer, posted a series of blunt tweets about the over 50s Tour, which saw Kevin Sutherland pip Bernhard Langer to the season-long Charles Schwab Cup on Sunday. 

While Murray has since deleted his tweets, the American responded to a tweet detailing Bernhard Langer's accomplishments on the senior circuit this season...

And there was more...

“A lot of guys have to be politically correct or a sponsor will drop you, and it’s a shame,” Murray told Golf Channel's Ryan Lavner earlier this year. “So they shy away from it. They toe the line.

“I am not one to care how much money I make if I’m not being myself. I don’t want to be a double person out here on Tour. I don’t want to be a person on social media and inside the ropes, and then another guy with my buddies.”
