Spurs striker Harry Kane was hoping for pointers about his golf swing when he posted a video to Instagram on Thursday - not being ridiculed by fans over his controversial Stoke goal.

The Premier League goals accreditation panel decided to award Kane a goal that had been initially credited to Eriksen in the 2-1 win at the Bet365 Stadium.

Kane, whose Spurs side take on Manchester United in the FA Cup Semi-Final at Wembley this Saturday, is now only four goals behind claiming his third Golden boot from Liverpool's Mo Salah.

The 24-year-old England striker posted a video of his golf swing to his 4.3 million followers while out on a golf course in Essex, and captioned the post: "Taking the Tiger line! A great round in the sun at Abridge Golf Club."

But fans were more interested in quizzing him over his Stoke goal claim, than his performance on the fairway.

One comment read: “Are you gonna claim the Masters Green Jacket and all other golf tours now (asking for Eriksen).”

Another asked: “Claimed a hole in one?”

And a third jabbed: “He’ll claim the ball went into the hole.”
