The 72nd hole of the 2008 US Open will forever go down as a top 10 moment in Tiger Woods' career highlight reel, which let's face it, could probably feature about a million.

Woods spun his approach shot in to the par-5 18th at Torrey Pines to some 12 feet, leaving a testing, downhill putt that had to drop in order to force an 18-hole playoff the following day with Rocco Mediate.

Injured for the entire week, practically playing on one leg, Woods did the unthinkable and drained the putt before going on to clinch his 14th career major title the following day. Watch the magic moment below...

Woods and Mediate both shot a level-par 71 in the 18-hole playoff, before Woods sealed the deal at the first extra hole.

Will Woods ever win a major again? Who knows... but the signs are looking better these days. Share your thoughts in the forum or join us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
