Hold the front page. Jordan Spieth is changing his golf swing.

But before you fall out your chair, the man who landed two majors in 2015 is only adjusting his pre-shot routine.

Spieth's new move, which you can see in the slo-mo video of his swing from the Australian Open, appears similar to that of former Masters champion Mike Weir and three-time PGA Tour champion Chris DiMarco.

The biggest swing fault for most players is they typically get the club face open too early on the backswing, and therefore find themselves racing to get the club face back square.

This new pre-shot move for Spieth now allows him to make sure he is taking the club back on plane. He is effectively monitoring where the club face is.

If it works for the world number one, maybe it could work for you?
