Left-hander Greg Chalmers surprised many by winning the Australian Open against a stellar field in Sydney on the eve of the Presidents Cup.

The Titleist Ambassador makes up for his lack of length with the driver by having a superb short game and is ranked No.1 on the PGA Tour for scrambling (65%) - the ability to get up and down when he misses the green in regulation.

He might stand on the wrong side of the ball to most of us but the technique is just the same and he stresses how important it is not to be to handsy with this kind of shot from 60-yards.

It's all a case of setting the hands and wrist to deliver a sharp descending blow on the ball and swinging smoothly from the shoulders.

Armed with one of his Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges and Pro V1x golf balls, Greg reveals what he's thinking about when faced with a 60-yard wedge shot  and needs to hit it close.
