Ping Collection's zip-up woollie

Himley zip-up top

Have you noticed how the nights are already drawing in? It seems less than five minutes since we were emerging from a gloomy winter and now we're already losing several minutes a day in daylight.

However, golf doesn't stand still and one manufacturer has already released its latest styles of autumn and winter knitwear.

Ping Collection is introducing a new lined, zip-neck lambswool sweater. The Himley is one of the lightweight, durable and machine-washable wool sweaters Ping is launching along with the Talon, Hankley and Clandon.

With its wind-resistant lining, the Himley (£70) is available in a choice of black or pecan parl, in sizes from small to XXL.
