Burner's ambition

Golf news in brief
TaylorMade Burner TP 3-wood

Club golfers will get the benefit of using the identical clubs the pros use now that TaylorMade has introduced its latest Burner TP metalwoods, currently proving popular on the US PGA Tour and European Tour.

The clubs are different from Burner Steel fairway woods in their pear-shaped steel clubheads and semi-deep clubface creating an appearance at address that Tour pros prefer.

The TP fairway woods are fitted with SuperFast RE*AX TP 75-gram shafts, combining a high kickpoint with low torque for a lower, penetrating trajectory that skilled players find easier to control.

The Burner TP fairway wood is available in Tour Spoon (13 degrees), Tour 3-wood (15) and Tour 5-wood (18) for a recommended price of £169.
