Nike will introduce three putters to its line of irons and drivers in May, while Callaway is set to add two more versions of the Odyssey White Hot 2-ball putters that have proved so successful among British golfers.
That's the latest news from Orlando, which is currently staging the world's biggest golf show - for 1,300 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors in a covered square mile of wall-to-wall golf equipment and clothing.
Just over a year since introducing its first golf clubs, Nike reveals the debut of its Blue Chip (BC) putter line designed by master club-maker Tom Stites.

The BC101, BC002 (£99) and Oz (£119) are designed to diminish skidding at impact with the centre of gravity positioned deeper in the club head and a lighter aluminium insert face.
Callaway Golf's Odyssey White Hot 2-ball putter, is recognised as the fastest-selling club of its kind in the UK and now the Chessington-based company plans to launch a DFX version with a Stronomic insert in April and centre-shafted model in May. Each has a mallet head with a two golf ball alignment behind the clubface.
Callaway says the clubs have a unique "weighting wing" design that lowers the centre of gravity and pulls weight away from the face of the putter for better roll performance.

It also says the Stronomic insert in the Odyssey DFX a crisper impact feel crisper than the White Hot.
The Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball Center-Shafted Putter (£149) and the Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Putter (£139) will be available in right-hand models of 33, 34, 35 and 36 inches.
