You can never have too many pockets in a golf bag. That's the view of 12-handicapper George Grant who tested this bag over four weeks - seven days of which were spent playing in Portugal.
"Initially I thought there were too many pockets (9) - far more than in the Izzo dual strap bag I normally use," said George, "but I found a use for most of them. It was handy to put tee pegs, balls, pencils and stroke-savers in their own compartments instead of having to fumble around in one pocket. Double zips on some pockets were also an advantage."
The 5lb bag, complete with rain hood, packed away well into his flight carry bag, a good touch being the Velcro strap to hold the stand legs in place.
At first George thought the four-way dividers were a tight squeeze with a full set of clubs on board but after four weeks of use, the clubs slid in and out with ease.
Overall George felt the bag was of good appearance and well made of strong, hard wearing and waterproof material. He felt there was good internal protection for club shafts and the double strap easily adjustable and well-balanced. Double zips on some pockets were good for easier access.
On the downside the stand legs were unsubstantial and prone to sink into soft ground.
