Dial M for magic wedges from Cobra

Cobra's 60 deg. M wedge

Cobra Golf, revitalised with its King Cobra drivers and fairway metals, SS-I irons and Aussie Series putters, has turned to the scoring game in a bid to give its wedges an edge, too.

The Cobra M wedge series is to be launched in the Spring with a large muscleback head within a classic design.

The makers say the wedges 'deliver the perfect combination of feel, versatility and forgiveness' from a solid strike.

The 431 'Soft cast' stainless steel head combined with the nickel-plated finish, says Cobra, makes for an 'extremely soft feel and a great looking head at address.'

These scoring clubs - available in 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60 degree lofts - have a unique skid sole design to help prevent the club from digging in on soft surfaces or bouncing on firm ground.

All are fitted with True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts and Cobra Golf Pride Tour Velvet 50D grips. The M wedges will be available in the UK from March 2004 onwards at £69 each.
