Mickelson back for Loch Lomond

Lefty for Loch Lomond

US Masters champion Phil Mickelson has signed up to play the Barclays Scottish Open on the eve of the Open Championship, from July 8-11 at Loch Lomond.

He's lined up again the best of the European Tour, including Ernie Els, the defending champion, whom he edged out for the green jacket earlier this month at Augusta.

Mickelson, currently top of the US PGA Tour money list and ranked fifth in the world, returns to Loch Lomond in search of a major chunk of the £2.2million purse and as part of his preparation for the Open at Royal Troon the following week.

Mickelson said: "I will return to this tournament, and expect to do so for many years...I love the place. It's a magnificent stage for a very important championship."

Savings of up to 40% are available on tickets booked before April 30. An adult season ticket can be purchased for the discounted price of £50, a saving of £20 on the full season ticket price. The season ticket gives access to the course on all five days including practice and championship play and includes a free programme voucher and free parking.

For more information call the Ticket Hotline on 0141 887 2992 or email tournament@barclaysscottishopen.co.uk
