Odyssey White Steel putters set for debut

White Steel 2-ball putter from Odyssey

Latest putter from Odyssey is the White Steel 2-ball blade, which Callaway claims is 'the next revolution in the insert putter category.'

The putter features Dual Insert Technology integrating a precision-milled, stainless steel insert in the centre of a modified White Hot urethane face insert.

"It allows weight to be repositioned deep in the putterhead for greater resistance to twisting, increased stability on off-centre putts and better feel and roll," says Odyssey.

Each model will feature a bright, distinctive Odyssey Red Swirl grip from Winn, made from a soft polymer compound

Prices of six models will range from £99 for the traditional heel-toe-weighted or blade to £149 for the White Steel 2-ball versions.

Wow, this could be the one...

Having had a serious fall out with my futura..(RIP).

The Futura just wasn't designed for the Great British greens throughout Autumn Winter or Spring or our wet Summer come to think of it.

I've decided to take the plunge and buy a 2 ball. having heard the new Steel version was due to hit the shops, I waited and finaly ordered the new steel version today from 118 golf.

The one I've ordered is the standard shape not the blade.

Can't wait for it too arrive (Hopefully before weekend).

I'll post a review as soon it's had a couple of outings...
