East Sussex National's splendid final hole
|
In the past few months I have been fortunate to play some terrific courses including Hollinwell, Royal Cinque Ports, The Oxfordshire, East Sussex National and The De Vere Belfry's Brabazon. Many of you will have had similar experiences this year even at smaller, less well-known venues.
Throughout the UK we are blessed with beautiful courses that test every aspect of our game and some that are merely a pleasure to savour, and in the words of Walter Hagen 'stop and smell the flowers.' Surrey National, The Warwickshire and Hanbury Manor fell into this category.
Others we visit may not leave such a lasting impression, but are still well maintained and provide excellent value for money for a day out. Some sadly should be named and shamed for their poor condition, customer service and over-priced policy.
At Golfmagic.com we are the site that is regarded as No.1 for its fair and honest appraisal of not only equipment but also courses, both by our in-house editorial and our 50,000 members.
We have set our selves a target of achieving 10,000 course reviews within 12 months including at least one for every one of the 2,500 in the UK. But we need your assistance and have also enlisted the help of leading golf shoe brand Stuburt.
