FootJoy's latest fashions

Stylish Red Label jacket in black with white piping

FootJoy, golf's No.1 shoe brand, aims to widen its appeal in waterproof and wind tops with a new outwear collection to include the younger, more fashion-conscious player.

The Red Label Collection features 'a continental cut', favoured by younger players with rain trousers, for example, influenced by contemporary jean design with straight leg cut, zip fly, tailored waistband and belt loops.

Jackets and rain shirts also use slimmer patterns and shorter body lengths while Sta-Dry Stretch material is used across the rainwear which also includes a light, high density fabric in the windshirt range and exclusive ProDry to wick away moisture. This is also used in both the short and long sleeve Red Label golf mocks.

Every items also has an over-sleeve design with elasticated waterproof inner cuffs, inner chest pocket for scorecards, storm collars, adjustable and draw string waist band.

Prices range from £40 for the short sleeve mock and wind shirt, to £110 for rain shirt and £160 for the Red Label jacket. Trousers (in black or navy) cost £130. Colours include black, navy, sandstone and red with contrasting piping.

FootJoy LT shoe

Meanwhile FootJoy says it's raising the performance bar with its advanced GF:II's and sporty LT Series shoes, recently introduced to stock in hundreds of golf shops.

The FootJoy GF:II includes advanced sole technology and as well as comfortable GelCollar and shock-dampening GelRide, features the a Wishbone Suspension system, keeping the foot in contact with the ground whatever the lie, while still allowing the foot to rotate naturally.

To cater for a younger trend-setting golfer, FootJoy has introduced the lightweight LT Series shoe with an interlocking lace system.

The GF:II (£145) and the LT Series (£95) are both available in two styles and colours.
